If you are looking to customize your beef, this is the option for you! Although it requires some freezer space, this is the most cost-effective way to purchase beef.
$3.00/lb hanging weight
Beef is priced by the hanging (or carcass) weight and includes basic processing and local delivery. Pricing by the hanging weight allows you to customize the processing. The hanging weight of a quarter is approximately 200-225 lbs. This puts the total cost of a quarter in the ballpark of $600-675.
Your take-home weight is about half of the hanging weight depending on how you want the beef to be cut and processed. A quarter typically results in 100-125 lbs of take-home weight and requires approximately 2-3 cubic feet of freezer space.

We send a limited number of beef to butcher each month. To reserve your beef, we require a $150 non-refundable deposit along with your cut instructions. The remaining balance is due at delivery.
